Son of Jean de Laval-Bois-Dauphin, and Renee de Saint-Mars, he was married to Claude de la Jaille, widow of Guy de Laval-Lezay, lord of Lezay, from whom he had no children. He embraced, after the death of Claude de la Jaille, the ecclesiastical state; was appointed to the archbishopric of Embrun in 1554, by King Henry II, and died before having taken possession and without having been crowned.

I. Natal chart

The chart shows an opposition between SA and the group (MA, JU); this opposition occurs in cadent houses. By the way, MO is in VIII. SU is in III (cadent). ASC SAGIT, ruler JU and MC Libra, ruler, VE. Ve can be considered in house cadent (III). JU debilitated (exile, GEM).
Aspects: mundane quadrat between SU and (MA, JU).

So, it appears that MO and SU can't be HYLEG. Morinus gives however SU for ALMUTEN and it is, I think, because SU is in ARIES (exalt). We have uniquely VE as ALCHOCODEN (PTO) or SA with Omar or Bonatti. The HYLEG is SU according to PTO or SA according to the others...

D = 35.7 Y (39) - HYL MO, ALCH SA -

According to the late authors, if we take SA as ALCHOCODEN, we find 35.7 years (Claude De Lavail is dead at 39 years). But I wish to repeat here the doubts that I have in respect to this method which seems to me much too mechanical. It at least has the merit of having a detailed examination of the structure of the chart. Taking HYLEG with MO in VIII seems suspicious... It should also be noted that the zodiacal aspects do not correspond to mundane aspects and that to speak of zodiacal quadrat where there is a mundane TRI is an aberration ...

We find also a // direction between MO and SA because MA and SA are opposite.

Direction between the ANAERETA and the ruler of ASC.
