LOUIS XIII
Louis XIII (27 September 1601 – 14 May 1643) was a monarch of the House of Bourbon who ruled as King of France from 1610 to 1643 and King of Navarre (as Louis II) from 1610 to 1620, when the crown of Navarre was merged with the French crown.
[Argoli, 178]
The diary of Jean Héroard, Louis XIII's physician reported on several illnesses of the king, notably in 1616 and 1627. Louis XIII was to succumb in 1645 probably by Crohn's disease. [see FOISIL M. Journal de Jean Héroard, médecin de Louis XIII. Séminaire de Pierre Chaunu. Fayard, Paris, 1989, 2 vol.

A)- coronation :
Louis XIII ascended the throne in 1610 upon the assassination of his father, and his mother Marie de' Medici acted as his Regent. Although Louis XIII became of age at thirteen (1614), his mother did not give up her position as Regent until 1617, when he was 16. We see that a favorable event, here a coronation, is connected with an adverse event, the assassination of the father. The theme of Louis XIII, by this problematic conjunction JU-SU, presents a remarkable ambiguity.

The signifying direction (the one whose orb is closest to the marking point) is:
M D = 16.8° Placidus (AR -0.2).
It corresponds to a converse L(z) SA = 204.73° VIRGO. The direct L(z) MO = 218.95° SCORPIO (with luna motion and latitude of both promissor and significator).

The signifying direction (the one whose orb is closest to the marking point) is:
M D = 25.05° Placidus (1/EQU 0.12).
It corresponds to a converse L(z) MO = 175.82° VIRGO. The direct L(z) ME = 202.48° SCORPIO.
Observe that the position of the points in relation to the axis MC-IC favors the AR directions: this is the case here where D (AR) = 28.6 (fictitious). It is clear that to speak in the present case of a fictitious direction for an AR direction is a mistake. Only the symbolic directions or the Goldmayer directions should be used.
2)- MO conj ASC
D = 28.85° (OA(MA)-OA(ASC)). The L(z) ASC(d) = 123.11 LEO (MA = 125° LEO).
