Ferdinand I of the Two Sicilies

Ferdinand I (12 January 1751 – 4 January 1825),

was the King of the Two Sicilies from 1816, after his restoration following victory in the Napoleonic Wars. Before that he had been, since 1759, Ferdinand IV of the Kingdom of Naples and Ferdinand III of the Kingdom of Sicily. He was deposed twice from the throne of Naples: once by the revolutionary Parthenopean Republic for six months in 1799 and again by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1805.Ferdinand was restored for the second time following the Austrian victory at the Battle of Tolentino (3 March 1815) over rival monarch King Joachim I. On 8 March 1816 he merged the thrones of Sicily and Naples into the throne of the Two Sicilies. He continued to rule until his death on 4 January 1825.

We see at first that the disposition of houses is 'normal' ; so the zodiacal directions are quiet equal to mundane. Second, we have two sectors of interest : SA opp MC and VE-SU square JU. These points take interest in relation with the two depositions of Ferdinand in 1799 and 1805.

Primary directions of 1799 : JU opp SA

In the same time, we have MC opp SU (don't forget that by exception this chart is quiet 'normal' ; so the AO arcs are quiet equated by symbolic arcs...).

Primary directions of 1805 : MA conj VE

When we see the ALMUTEN structure, it is important to quote that SU and VE are preregrine ; Ve is combust but as notated elsewhere, a combust planet is less worst if peregrine (it has been also notated that MA peregrine is less damaging that not...).

Ferdinand was restored in 1815. At this time, we note the following directions :
- MO SEX MA - SA TRI MC (Z.

ALMUTEN diagram

 HYLEG diagram

Observe that MO is HYLEG, but the condition is worst. Alchocoden seems to be SA.

Primary direction at death : MA opp MO.

with the following table :

Conclusion : There is no obvious relationship between hyleg and almuten. Nevertheless, it may be that observing weak SU or MO (may bee also VE) may be an indication of the effect of a direction (this is just a hypothesis).

André Bourvil

André Bourvil

born André Robert Raimbourg ; 27 July 1917, Prétot-Vicquemare, France – 23 September 1970, Paris), often known mononymously as Bourvil, was a French actor and singer best known for his roles in comedy films, most notably in his collaboration with Louis de Funès in the films Le Corniaud (1965) and La Grande Vadrouille (1966). After a battle with Kahler's syndrome, which attacks the bone marrow, he died at the age of 53. He is buried in Montainville, Yvelines.

I. Natal chart

In this chart, SU is X. Unfortunately, he is afflicted with a conjunction with SA which is combust; this is one of the worst conditions for a planet. Moreover, SU is afflicted by square MO.

I.1 ALMUTEN

Planet with most dignities is VE, but we note a peregrine condition.

I.2 HYLEG

The Hyleg is SU (LEO), but as said before, afflicted by combust condition and MO square. We can also consider that SU is 'besieged' (we consider as besieged a planet between MA and SA when the distance |MA-SA| < 35°.

I.3 ALCHOCODEN

As SU is Hyleg and it is in rulership, we shall think that SU is as well the alchocoden. but, it is aspected by SA which is lord of term, for his five dignities. So, the alchocoden is SA.

One can discuss aspects of which tradition does not speak, relative to their use in the search for years of life: the parallel aspects. // is considered to be favorable and # is unfavorable. In the present case, SA // SU, SA # MO and SA // JU. If we consider 1/12 in a year, we end up with:
25 / 12-19 / 12 + 12/12 = 1.5 years.
To this, we add the value of the alchocoden (SA angular, but combust and peregrine, ie: 4.75 years.) To this is added the total of the aspects to SA, that is: SA conj SU = 19 - SA square MO = 25 - JU sex SA = 12.
The total is Yt = 52.25. Bourvil died at 53 years old.

Conclusion

It seems interesting to juxtapose the results of the values found by the alchocoden method to primary arcs, the only possibility of increasing the sensitivity and the specificity of the results.

Baltasar Carlos

Balthasar Carlos (17 October 1629 – 9 October 1646),

Prince of Asturias, Prince of Girona, Duke of Montblanc, Count of Cervera, and Lord of Balaguer, Prince of Viana was heir apparent to all the kingdoms, states and dominions of the Spanish monarchy until his death.
The only son of King Felipe IV of Spain and his first wife, Elisabeth of France, he died of smallpox, aged 16, at nine p.m. on 9 October 1646 at Zaragoza, Spain.

I. Natal chart

The natal chart is complex: conj I, SA-SU always problematic with SA combust, ASC LIBRA (ruler VE in exile, SCORPIO). MO fall - Only SA is found in good heavenly condition. ALMUTEN (Ibn Ezra, Omar) is SA. HYLEG is represented by SU and ALCHOCODEN is MO. The strongest planets are JU, VE and MA. We note a quadrature radix between JU and SA.

The primary directions are of two types: rapt-parallel and directions between key points.
- rapt-parallels : SU-MO - SA-MO
- primary points : JU opp MA
- ASC conj SA

II. Primary directions

A. rapt-parallel SA-MO (and SU-MO) - it must be said that the Regiomontanus and Campanus Rp are identical. It is not the case if we consider the Placidus Rp.

1)- compute the mundane mid-point SA-MO : 13.82°
2)- compute the L(Z) of mid-point : 209.14° LIBRA
3)- compute the direction mid-point-ASC

a)- parameters

b)- analysis

c)- result

D --> Z C Placidus AR orb 0.24.

This is the Rp SA|MO which is the equivalent of the direction C Mid-Pt (SA,MO) conj ASC.
We have the same result for Rp SU|MO ; This is not surprising since SA is combust (conj SA-SU). It is therefore the SU, SA | MO set that must be considered.

Here is a look tot the Rp SU|MO analysis.

Have a look to the weighting factor that marks D-Z at 44.24 (X-1 at 1.85) which testifies to the superior accuracy of the primary directions with respect to the non-primary directions.

B. VE conj MO

As VE is the ruler of ASC and MO is the so called ALCHOCODEN, it is interesting to compute the direction of VE to conj MO.

1)- parameters

2)- analysis

3)- result
 zodiacal

mundane

The result is Z C Placidus EQU orb -0.1. It is with proper motion of MO.

c. JU opp MA

JU and MA are detrimental (both fall). And we have a very quadrature of JU to SA and ME. Very quadrature, that to say a quadrat both in zodiacal AND mundane, because houses have about the same size that the zodiac signs.

1)- parameters

2)- analysis

3)- result

mundane

D --> M D Regio-Campa 1/AR orb 0.19.

Conclusion

This natal chart makes it possible to measure the importance of taking into account the radix conjunctions, in particular involving SU and SA; the rapt-parallels between HYLEG and ALCHOCODEN; more generally, falling points and those with maximum declination.

ARGOLI (8)

HENRICUS II GALLIARUM REX (1519-1559)

Cf.: http://primarydirections.blogspot.com/2017/04/henri-ii.html.

I)- natal chart

  • ASC GEMINI, ruler ME (XII)
  • MC AQUARIUS, ruler SA (IX)
3 planets are detrimental : ME, VE and MA. We have an opposition between JU and SU, VE. And we have quadrature between JU and MA. Quadrature between SA and SU. VE is combust.

Morinus gives  SU for ALMUTEN.Capricorn Prometheus gives JU for ALCHOCODEN with PTO ; otherwise, with Omar or Bonatti, there is no ALCHOCODEN.

- HYLEG : ASC (POF ?)
- ANAERETA : MA (SA ?)
- ALCOCODEN :  JU

II)- primary directions

1)- exitus : 1559

a)- MA conj ASC

D(ASC-MA) = OA(ASC)-OA(MA) = 32.33°-71.06°= 39.941° (1559)

(observe that a direction of ASC is always direct : MA rises).

b)- Rp MO|ME and ME conj SA - VE // SA

Here we have a relatively rare example of three directions that have a common root. We will first calculate the Rp between MO and ME in relation to the MC. The procedure to follow has been simplified since the previous examples.
- Rp MO | ME (PM):
- compute the mundane mi-point between the two points. It is not the same for Regio or Campanus, nor Placidus.

  • mi-point domitude Campa = 340.91° - Lz = 8.89° ARIES - D (mi-point/MC) = 40.37 (Campa) - with latitude : dom Campa = 343.35 - Lz = 15.55° ARIES - D = 43.01 (no ray)
  • mi-point domitude Regio = 332.66° - Lz = 9.73° ARIES - D (mi-point/MC) = 40.7 (Campa) à 0.3 orb equat.
  • mi-point domitude Placidus = 333.10° - Lz = 10.01° ARIES - D(mi-point/MC) = 40.8 (Campa)
Let's add that we do not observe any Rp with the fictitious methods.

Now, we take the ray : VE // SA : it is a converse direction. The mobile point is VE and the fixed point is the parallel of SA.
- compute Campanus mundane //SA : 293.7° - Lz = 310.141° AQUARIUS.
- compute the direction :

2 DP Regio and Placidus direct, 1 mundane ; none fictitious.

Then, we see the last direction : ME conj SA.

1 DP Regio-Campa at 40.487° (Morinus find 40.678°).

c)- VE # MO

We have said earlier that VE is combust. So it is interesting to compute this ray for 1559.
- comput of mundane #VE : 9.34° domitude Campanus - Lz = 75.34° GEMINI.
