Johannes Henricus filii Augustus of Saxony

Johannes Henricus filii Augustus of Saxony

In Torgau on 7 October 1548 Augustus was married to Anna, daughter of King Christian III of Denmark and Dorothea of Saxe-Lauenburg. They took up residence at Weissenfels. The couple had fifteen children:
 John Henry (b. Weissenfels, 5 May 1550 – d. Weissenfels, 12 November 1550).

My attention has been drawn to this natal chart because it illustrates, as I have already seen, the possibility that aspects specifically affecting MO and VE may coincide with a major life event. Look for an example to :

 http://primarydirections.blogspot.com/2018/03/prince-friedrich-of-hesse-and-by-rhine.html.
http://primarydirections.blogspot.com/2018/03/fanny-shaw-zadkiel-129.html.

The interest aroused by these examples is that it did not take many cases to get to them: they introduced themselves to me as and when I studied, without my special need to search for them. The natal chart of Johannes Henricus can be found in the treatise of Garcaeus, Methodus astrologiae, Basel 1570 f. 13. The date of birth is 2 May; it differs from that given by Wikipedia (May 5).

I. Natal chart

We can immediately see the opposition between MO and VE to 1 °. MO is in SAG and JU is detriment (GEM) and opposed to MO. Moreover, the ruler of VE (and JU) is in VIII. Finally, we note that VE is R.
ME is ruler of both the MC and the ASC.

Here, we find an adapted version of Lilly's table :

As can be seen, the hylegial factors are weak (SU, MO, VE). I added to the table of Lilly [cf. http://www.skyscript.co.uk/dig5.html] accidental dignities aspects of # in conjunction, between SU, MO, and SA, MA. For example, we note that SU is affected by a # of SA and that SU, moreover, is in zodiacal conjunction with Algol (49 ° 50 'in 1550). I draw attention to the fact that we observe 5 peregrine planets in this natal chart.

This aspect of # (counter-parallel) is often encountered between SU and SA. It is all the more remarkable to observe for a death that occurred before the age of 1 year.

Christiernus Daniae rex

Christiernus Daniae rex

Christian II (1 July 1481 – 25 January 1559) was a Scandinavian monarch under the Kalmar Union. He reigned as King of Denmark and Norway from 1513 until 1523 and of Sweden from 1520 until 1521. From 1513 to 1523, he was concurrently Duke of Schleswig and Holstein in joint rule with his uncle Frederick.

Origani, Astrologia Naturalis, Massiliae, Senj 1645, p. 156

Genitura can be found in Garcaeus, f. 10, 20h16 PM - Junctinus, 362, 18h16 PM and Origani, 156, 18h16 PM. Observe that the MO longitude from Junctinus is inconsistent with birth hour.

I. Natal chart

ALMUTEN is JU. MO is HYLEG. But, confusion is near : according to Lilly, SA is ALMUTEN !
MA is in fail (CAN).
VE is in house I; therefore, I think it can be taken for HYLEG; MO (II) and SU (XII) can not be HYLEG being in cadent and succedent houses. But, they retain their luminary status which gives them a sympathy with the physical state of the individual (especially MO).

Conclusion

The presence of a planet in house I or X seems to privilege compared to the rule of a sign. VE and MO are the factors to be favored, anyway, when one examines the physical events of the individual. The radix aspects are to be considered with caution and according to the orientation of the MC and the ASC. Thus, in the natal chart of Christernius, the ratio is 0.37. In these conditions, it is necessary to take into account aspects in mundo, and not in zodiaco.

Augustus, Elector of Saxony

Augustus, Elector of Saxony

Augustus I (German: August von Sachsen), born in Freiberg (Electorate of Saxony) on July 31, 1526 and died in Dresden (Electorate of Saxony) on February 11, 1586, is elector of Saxony from 1553 to his death, count palatine of Saxony and Margrave of Misnie from 1556 to his death. He was the protector of the Lutheran party in the Holy Empire between 1570 and 1586.

I. Natal chart

ALMUTEN is MO (X). But we see a square between SU and MO ; so SU is debilitated even if in LEO, and near ASC. VE is ruler of MC ; JU, MA and SA are detrimental.
So, HYLEG is MO. According to Omar and Lilly, VE is ALMUTEN.

François de Bonne, Duke of Lesdiguières

François de Bonne, Duke of Lesdiguières

(1 April 1543 – 21 September 1626) was a French soldier of the French Wars of Religion and Constable of France.
He became duke of Champsaur in 1611, governor of Dauphiné in 1612, then marshal general of the camps and armies of the king in 1621, then constable of France and knight of the Holy Spirit in 1622.

He died of fever at Valence on 21 September 1626.

Astrologia gallica, liber XVII, 406 - Argoli, De Diebus criticis, 286 (with misprint of month : November for April, the chart is correct).

Morin de Villefranche writes in Volume 24 of his Astrologia gallica:

'Constable Lesdiguieres began to be ill on 21 August 1626. when the New Moon occurred in 28 degrees of Leo. And therefore on that day the Moon was passing from the square of Mars and Saturn to the Sun; moreover, she was the ruler of the radical ASC and was being directed to her own sinister square, since she was the apheta, and with a quincunx to Saturn following. And on the day of the beginning of his illness, Saturn, ruler of the eight in the radix and [also| in the solar revolution, was in 17 degrees of Virgo partilely opposite the radical Moon; but Mars, the ruler of Saturn, was in its place in the solar revolution; moreover, the Sun and the Moon were in trine to the radical Venus; but because she was the ruler of the twelfth in exile in Aries, she was not able to be of benefit, especially [acting] alone against the unlucky [aspects] mentioned above. ' [trad J. Holden, Astrologia Gallica Book 24: Progressions and Transits, p. 50, 2005]

Attention must be given above all to longevity, which is relatively rare at this time, especially in a man of war. De Bonne died at 83, the canonical age for the time.

I. Natal chart

ASC CAN (ruler MO)  ; MC PIS (ruler JU). JU opposite to VE, JU (so, SU strong in ARI ; VE is debilitated in ARI and MA, debilitated in TAU). In zodiaco, MO is TRI to SA and SEX to MA.
Mo in X, strong.
ALMUTEN is VE (according to Ibn-Ezra, Omar or Lilly). HYLEG is SU.
