Chet Baker (2)

Chet Baker (2)

See : https://primarydirections.blogspot.com/2017/07/chet-baker.html

In my first article about Chet Baker, I considered that MO was the alchocoden. I now think that it is an error as I show in the following tables. The hyleg is ASC and the alchocoden is JU. In addition, two counter-parallel primary directions (between 1965 and 1967) coincide with the attack on Chet Baker and his withdrawal from the scene that followed until the early seventies. Finally, another primary direction coincides with his death, probably due to involuntary defenestration (under the influence of drugs?). This is the movement direction from MO to ASC (no more than 5 minutes more than the time of birth). I recall the nativity theme:

Note a stellium including VE, MA, SU, SA and POF. SU is besieged. The planets are almost all cadents, except JU at the limit of the house VIII and ME (which is peregrine).

for 1966

There are 2 possible hyleg: ASC and SYG. If ASC is hyleg, Y = 36, which corresponds to 1966, when a serious aggression took place.
When SYG (FM) is hyleg, alcho is probably ME (trip and diurn ruler) ; in this case, Y = 62. Thus, we are led to consider not one, but two alchocodens (or more) coinciding with different events in the temporal flow.

François II, King of France (2)

see : https://primarydirections.blogspot.com/2017/06/francois-ii.html

The time of birth of Francis II is known only with an approximation of 1 hour, between 16 and 17h approximately. However, we know that the Sun was still visible on the horizon [cf. Catherine de Medicis, Cloulas, Fayard, 1979] The determination of hyleg and alchocoden can be, here, one of the means of rectification of the time of birth. Let's take 16h 30: the hyleg can only be the SYG (FM), located at 119 ° CAN. In these conditions, the alchocoden is ME; Campanus -

Elizabeth I of England

Elizabeth I of England

(7 September 1533 – 24 March 1603)[1] was Queen of England and Ireland from 17 November 1558 until her death on 24 March 1603. Sometimes called The Virgin Queen, Gloriana or Good Queen Bess, Elizabeth was the last of the five monarchs of the House of Tudor.

The Queen's health remained fair until the autumn of 1602, when a series of deaths among her friends plunged her into a severe depression. In February 1603, the death of Catherine Carey, Countess of Nottingham, the niece of her cousin and close friend Lady Knollys, came as a particular blow. In March, Elizabeth fell sick and remained in a "settled and unremovable melancholy", and sat motionless on a cushion for hours on end. When Robert Cecil told her that she must go to bed, she snapped: "Must is not a word to use to princes, little man." She died on 24 March 1603 at Richmond Palace, between two and three in the morning. A few hours later, Cecil and the council set their plans in motion and proclaimed James King of England.

The birth time is between 3 and 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The assumption of 3:45 is proposed in view:

Richard III

RICHARD III

(2 October 1452 – 22 August 1485) was King of England from 1483 until his death at the Battle of Bosworth Field. He was the last king of the House of York and the last of the Plantagenet dynasty. His defeat at Bosworth Field, the last decisive battle of the Wars of the Roses, marked the end of the Middle Ages in England.

The time of birth of Richard III is questionable. It seemed to me interesting to try 9am that corresponds to ASC at 15 ° SCO. Wilhelmi Worcestrii Annales Vol. II pg. 477, gives the date 2 October 1452, and Joannis Rossi Antiquarian Warwicensis Historia Regum Angliae, pg. 215 gives Scorpio Ascendant.
It is all the more interesting to consider a certain margin of maneuver in the time of birth, that in view of the theme, some planets are located on the edge of the cusps, including SU and SA to a lesser extent (XI/XII).

In the chart, we observe mostly the opposition of MA-SU and SU is besieged by SA (0°) and MA (180°). Moreover, VE (I) and MO (VI) are opposite.

Henry VI of England

Henry VI of England

(6 December 1421 – 21 May 1471) was King of England from 1422 to 1461 and again from 1470 to 1471, and disputed King of France from 1422 to 1453. The only child of Henry V, he succeeded to the English throne at the age of nine months upon his father's death, and succeeded to the French throne on the death of his maternal grandfather Charles VI shortly afterwards. [...] Henry was imprisoned in the Tower of London again and when the royal party arrived into London, Henry VI was reported dead. Official chronicles and documents state that the deposed king died on the night of 21 May 1471. In all likelihood, Henry's opponents had kept him alive up to this point rather than leave the Lancasters with a far more formidable leader in Henry's son Edward. However, once the last of the most prominent Lancastrian supporters were either killed or exiled, it became clear that Henry VI would be a burden to Edward IV's reign. The common fear was the possibility of another noble utilizing the mentally unstable king to further their own agenda.
According to the Historic of the arrival of Edward IV, an official chronicle favourable to Edward IV, Henry died of melancholy on hearing news of the Battle of Tewkesbury and his son's death. It is widely suspected, however, that Edward IV, who was re-crowned the morning following Henry's death, had in fact ordered his murder.

Edward the Black Prince

Edward the Black Prince

Edward of Woodstock, known to history as the Black Prince (15 June 1330 – 8 June 1376),[a] was the eldest son of King Edward III of England, and thus the heir to the English throne. He died before his father and so never became king. His son, Richard II, would succeed to the throne instead. Edward nevertheless still earned distinction as one of the most successful English commanders during the Hundred Years' War, being regarded by his contemporaries as a model of chivalry and one of the greatest knights of his age.[1]
Edward was created Duke of Cornwall in 1337. He was guardian of the kingdom in his father's absence in 1338, 1340, and 1342. He was created Prince of Wales in 1343 and knighted by his father at La Hogne in 1346.

Edward the Black Prince seems to have enjoyed good health up to 1366 (including his successful campaigns in France), and led an active, vigorous, and warlike life. His ill-health dates from his unfortunate expedition to Spain, undertaken to restore Don Pedro the Cruel to the throne of Castile. In 1366, when the Prince was at Valladolid waiting in vain for the promised money from King Pedro, “ his army suffered so terribly from dysentery and other diseases that it is said that scarcely one Englishman out of five ever saw England again)" “ The army also were half-starved, and the free
companions in the prince’s pay ravaged the country." The Prince contracted a severe and debilitating illness, which lasted for ten years. It was probably amoebic dysentery which merged into the chronic form, for there are contemporary references to his dysentery subsequently. Sir George McRobert informs me that amoebic dysentery still occurs in Spain as well as the bacillary forms. In 1369,
when the Prince was at war with Charles V of France, Froissart states that his health was so feeble that he could not take an active part: he was swollen with dropsy and could not ride. Oedema of the legs and ascites have been noted in dysentery due to anaemia caused by intestinal haemorrhage. Alternatively, the Prince's dropsy may have been due to chronic nephritis, which sometimes complicates dysentery. A third suggestion is that it was a “hunger oedema," due to semi-starvation in Spain. The first explanation seems the most probable one. In 1370 Charles V of France raised armies for the invasion of Aquitaine. Though ill, the Prince left his sick bed in Angoulème, gathered an army at Cognac, and sacked Limoges. A sick man, he was carried in a litter. In January, 1371, on the advice of his physicians, ‘he returned to England and went to his manor of Berkhampstead “ ruined in health and fortune." His health improved, presumably with rest and dieting. ln August, 1372, he sailed on an expedition with King Edward III, his father, to relieve Thouars, but the fleet, exposed to contrary winds for nine weeks, eventually returned without landing on the French coast. Later, “ the Prince's sickness became very heavy." He knew he was dying, was much in prayer, and did many good and charitable works. “His dysentery became very violent, and he often fainted from weakness, so that his household believed he was actually dead." “ This was the result of the severe dysenteric haemorrhages and associated weakness and anaemia.
The Prince eventually died from dysentery and exhaustion in I376, aged 46. His body was brought from the Palace of Westminster to Canterbury and buried with great state in the Cathedral.
ARTHUR S. MACNALTY.
[British medical Journal, feb. 12 1955, 411]

The fact to remember is that the illness that ended up taking the black prince began ten years before his death. (nearly 1366)

The search for hyleg is not a problem: it's SU. On the other hand, finding the alchocoden is a little tricky; JU is well placed, doing TRI to SU and engaged in EXN as dignity. However, JU is very badly disposed in the theme although being almuten (according to Montulmo). That's why I think it's better to keep VE, better adjusted, engaged with SU by // and FAC as dignity.

Edward III

Edward III

(13 November 1312 – 21 June 1377) was King of England and Lord of Ireland from January 1327 until his death. Edward did not have much to do with any of this; after around 1375 he played a limited role in the government of the realm. Around 29 September 1376 he fell ill with a large abscess. After a brief period of recovery in February 1377, the king died of a stroke at Sheen on 21 June. He was succeeded by his ten-year-old grandson, King Richard II, son of the Black Prince, since the Black Prince himself had died on 8 June 1376.

2. Brit. Lib., MS Royal 12 F.xvii, fol. 153v; Nativity of Edward III of England, 13 November 1312, 17h 43m 248; Born in Windsor; d. 21 June 1377.
Figura nativitatis Edwardi de Wyndesouer, filius regis Anglie, anno Christi 1312 imperfecto, in festo Sancti Bricij, 13 die Novembris, in principio aurore, hora 17, minuta 43, secunda 24.

[from : Courting disaster : Edward III's time of birth is given as 'in principio aurore' or 17 hours, 43 minutes, and 24 seeonds after the previous midday. As all other measurements in the horoseope
are expressed with an aeeuracy no greater than degrees, this time looks like an approximation based on the known time of dawn given in tables. p. 122

The horoscope of Edward III taken by Bruen from 5t George' s chapel, Windsor, is not quite identical with that in M5 Royal 12 F.xvii, but it shares the same ascendant and, evidently, the same
tradition as to the time of the monarch' s birth.33 As it stands, the horoscope of this highly-successful and admired king is so heavy with auspices as to appear contrived. The sun in the house of the
ascendant is a mere thirty minutes past opposition with Jupiter, and 2° after opposition with the Lot of Fortune. In the same house, Mercury is in opposition to the Moon, who is 5° from her exaltation
and, most significantly, Mars in his day domicile, 5corpio, is 2° after conjunction with Venus. (In the MS Royal horoscope, the conjunction is exact.) Mars, moreover, is the day lord and Venus
the night ruler of the watery triplicity which includes 5corpio, and the ascendant lies in the finis governed by Mars. Ominously, 5atum is in his day domicile, Capricom, but his virtue is impeded
by his position in the weak second house ('cadens') and in the night half of the horoscope. In the seventh house, also known as the descendant or occasus, Jupiter is 0°30' from conjunction with the
Lot of Fortune. p. 123]
