Alain

Born Émile-Auguste Chartier on March 3, 1868 in Mortagne-au-Perche (Orne) and died June 2, 1951 in Vésinet (Yvelines), is a French philosopher, journalist, essayist and professor of philosophy. He is rationalist, individualist and critical.

In 1936, when he had long been suffering from regular attacks of rheumatism that immobilized him, a cerebral attack condemned him to a wheelchair.

Very weak, practically cut off from the world and the war, which even his friends avoid evoking in front of him, he knows from 1940 to 1942 very dark years, from a moral point of view as physical, especially as it loses in 1941 his girlfriend and faithful collaborator Marie-Monique Morre-Lambelin, and in 1944 his former student and his closest disciple, Jean Prévost, killed in the Vercors. His Journal (1937-1950, still largely unpublished) nevertheless bears the mark of the rebirth of his literary activity from 1943. It is essentially the re-reading of great works that brings him back to writing. He wrote again in 1947 the Letters to Sergio Solmi on the philosophy of Kant and the Souvenirs without regard, various articles and prefaces, the draft of a Marx in 1950. In May, he received the Grand Prix National des Lettres. He died on June 2, 1951.

  Other directions appear during this period, in particular: SA # VE and perhaps also VE # SA in mirror. However, although Venus seem to take place in the social destiny of the individual, I am not persuaded that VE is involved - in this natal chart - in physical fate. Observe however that in my early studies, I highlighted the role of VE as a possible factor in that occurrence ; but it needs to be extended over hundreds of cases.
