The next Geniture is that of Mary Dickinson, this young Woman lived in the service of Mr, Nathan Clayton, owner of one of the Steam Packets in the city of lincoLn. Oa the fifth of August, 1822, she, (in company with some of her Female Friends,) came to my House, and requested me to answer a few questions on her Nativity, she produced the correct time of her birth and observed, that she did not place confidence in such things, as shee had never known any proof to give satisfaction; she asked me if I oould inform her of the time of her Marriage; and whether she was likely to live happy in the state, to which I  answered, though I was confident she would natter enter into the matrimonial union ; she said she was sorry that I should give such false judgment, Mas she expected to Marry in the ensuing Spring; my reply was, that i had substantial reasons, (though they were an important and delicate nature,) to prove the truth of my affirmation, which in a few Months would be verified :as she was anxious to know what my delicate reasons were, which caused me to withhold the principal part of my Judgment, I then informed her that something of an awful nature would occur, before the Month of March, then next ensuing, which would destroy Life. As soon as I had mentioned these things, including my reasons for giving this Judgment, she laughed immoderately, and said, she placed no confidence in my observations; I told her it was with deep regret that I beheld the terrific Astral Causes in her Geniture, the Effects of which were fast approaching, but none of my admonitions had any influence on her Mind [...]
As she had engaged to go to a Village near Boston, she went on board the Packet, and in the act of leaning over the side of the Vessel, the was precipitated into the River, near the town of Bardney, and when taken out, Life was extinct; her death happened on the 7th of January, 1823, at half past eleven o'clock in the Morning, Aged twenty-four Years, eleven Months, and six days.[John Worsdale, Celestial philosophy, 120, op. cit]

I. Natal chart

As indicated by Worsdale, Mr. Dickinson was the victim of an accident; in astrological logic, it is the axis MC-IC that must be concerned in our search for valuation factors. We have the following factors :

• ASC SAGIT, ruler JU, opp MC
• MC LIBRA, ruler VE, III (cadent and in exaltation)
• MA conj ASC
• SU opp MO, with SU detrimental ++ - SA is also detrimental (exil).

Morinus gives MA as ALMUTEN, bu clearly the loard of the chart appears to be JU (according to Ibn Ezra and Omar). Furthermore, the ALMUDEBIT is SA.

The ALCHOCODEN is not evident to find in this chart because we have at least 2 ptolemaïc rays, * with SU and TRI with JU ! Considering the opp SU-MO, it is logical to take JU as ALCHOCODEN.

It is a converse mundane direction, in the very sens of Max DUVAL (see les Moyens de pronostic en astrologie, ed. Trad., 1985). Observe that we don't theorically need to compute the latitude considering that we have already determined it while calculus of the domitude.

D --> M D Placidus EQU orb -0.05. Observe that here, the proper motion of MO is 0 considering MO is the fixed point (motion is 'counter clockwise'). If we take care of the proper motion, we have the following result :

This time, the motion is 'clockwise'. In fact, there is only one motion that is the apparent motion of the sky. It must be considered that in the case of the direct direction, it is the pole of MO which is taken into account, while in the other case it is the pole of the point-aspect opp VE.
