Billie HOLLIDAY

Eleanora Fagan (April 7, 1915 – July 17, 1959), better known as Billie Holiday, was an American jazz singer with a career spanning nearly thirty years. Nicknamed "Lady Day" by her friend and music partner Lester Young. By early 1959 Holiday was diagnosed with cirrhosis. Although she had initially stopped drinking on her doctor's orders, it was not long before she relapsed. By May of the same year she had lost 20 pounds (9 kg). Her manager Joe Glaser, jazz critic Leonard Feather, photojournalist Allan Morrison, and the singer's own friends all tried in vain to persuade her to go to a hospital. On July 15, she received the last rites of the Roman Catholic Church and died two days later, at the age of 44, on July 17, 1959 [wikipedia].

In this chart, 3 sets stand out: MO, richly aspect, a stelium with ME-MA and SA, aspect by this group. MO is cadent (but by latitude, approaches the ASC).

Sophie Hélène Beatrix

Sophie was the youngest of the four children of king Louis XVI and queen Marie Antoinette. She was named after her great-aunt Princess Sophie of France, Louis XV's sixth daughter, who had died four years earlier.
Sophie was born a very large baby, but her fragile health was undermined by tuberculosis. She died on 19 June 1787 in Versailles after suffering five or six days of convulsions caused by the cutting of new teeth. She was eleven months old.

This chart : an illustration of third differentia. There is almost perfect opposition between VE and SA; a square between SA and JU.
ALMUTEN is MA. Cauda draconis is dreadful disposed, between ME and SU. There is also VE besieged between MA and opp SA.

The HYLEG is not SU, as being peregrine and in feminine sign. The hyleg seems to be SYG (NM) and the ALCHOCODEN is therefore SA. But here, a problem arises: the death being less than a year old, we can not use the method of Alchocoden. You have to go through the Almudebit method.

Louis XVII

Louis XVII

(27 March 1785 – 8 June 1795), born Louis-Charles, was the younger son of King Louis XVI of France and Queen Marie Antoinette. He was age seven when his parents went to the guillotine, on 21 January 1793. The youthful Dauphin was then the king in name until he disappeared from prison in 1795. The official theory is that he was poisoned on or about 8 June 1795, age nine. During the autopsy, the physician Dr. Pelletan was shocked to see the countless scars which covered the body of Louis-Charles. The scars were the result of the physical abuse he suffered while imprisoned. 

The chart is only slightly better than Louis-Joseph's. The hyleg is MO, the SU is cadent; problematic: VE at VIII cuspid, square at MA, and SA squared at MO. SA and MA in IV, relation of VE to MA in VIII: does that mean that the death will come by the fault of the family or in relation with the mother? It can not be said. But intense is the weight of this house IV. Observe in the same way the conjunction of Algol at VE! as well as this radix // SA-VE and that VE is quasi besieged between the 2 antiscia of MA and SA. See also this conjunction between JU and ME (peregrine).

ALMUTEN is JU. One more point to mention: that of MO, at 28 ° LIB. In principle, it can be passed to the next sign; of peregrine, she is 'in fall'. Nothing more.

The examination of the score shows two ex aequo: MO and SYG; but we can decide between them taking into account that MO is without aspect, whereas SYG presents it.

Louis Joseph, Dauphin of France

(22 October 1781 – 4 June 1789); French royalty, the second child and elder son of King Louis XVI of France and Marie Antoinette. As a son of a king of France, he was a Fils de France ("Son of France"), and as the eldest son and heir apparent, he was Dauphin of France, (the twenty-sixth "crown prince" of the Capetian and Bourbon monarchies).
Louis Joseph died of tuberculosis on 4 June 1789, aged seven, at the Château de Meudonat.

This chart has many vicissitudes: MO in XII (but caught up by its high latitude, in I); SU in VIII in conjunction with Cauda draconis; most planets are peregrine. Because of the high disproportion (ratio MC / AUC: 0.5), the rays in mundo should be preferred over those in zodiaco. It does not affect parallels.

ROBESPIERRE Maximilien (de)

(6 May 1758 – 28 July 1794)French attorney, politician and revolutionary. A fanatical idealist and radical leader of the Jacobins, he was called "the incorruptible." Robespierre, a patriot with a sense of duty and sacrifice, became the very symbol of the French Revolution. Declared an outlaw by the National Convention, he was executed on 7/28/1794, where he died by guillotine in Paris. After his death, many of his papers were destroyed in an attempt to destroy his memory.

This theme has been analyzed many times, one suspects (see for example: Paul Choisnard, Langage Astral, p. 199, ed. 1963, Editions Traditionnelles).However, in this case, I study it with Campanus domification.
First, let's see what is ALMUTEN:

The ALMUTEN is MO. We observe a square between SU and MA, SU (II) and MA (VI).
This can mean that there is conflict between the sense of usefulness (or service given)and job or work ethic. That was the case ! VE is ruler of SU and in I. We see also that MA exchanges TRI between MC and JU, great rays for a politician.

Observe the disposition of planets :

 SU and MA are both peregrine ! it's a bit like a boat being driven by the waves ... Look also to JU which is retrograde...

Now, see the HYLEG :

Even though MO is ALMUTEN, it may not be the most designated star to serve as a hyleg. In fact, two possibilities are open to us: either the ASC or the dominant planet that is MO. In one case the ALCHOCODEN is MO, in the other, MA. But in the last case, MA does not have ray with MO...

ALCHOCODEN score (for MO as HYLEG, ALCHO is MA) :

1)- As MA is peregrine and cadent, we use the lesser years : 15 ;

2)- for rays, observe the following table :

We add 20 Y for rays depending of TRI MC and 12 Y for JU (lesser years as retrograde).

Jacques HADAMARD

(8 December 1865 – 17 October 1963) was a French mathematician who made major contributions in number theory, complex function theory, differential geometry and partial differential equations. He dead at 97 years.

Remarkable chart, allowing to establish at sight the hyleg (MO); There are two regions to watch: JU-ME and MA-SU. Note the rich aspects between MO and JU-ME; a square from MO to MA. 

SU, MA and SA are peregrine. VE is detrimental and JU in fall.

This study allowed us to highlight two very specific areas where, three times, directions coincided with events related to house IV: the family and house V (children).

Frank ZAPPA

(December 21, 1940 – December 4, 1993) was an American musician, composer, activist and film-maker. His work is characterized by nonconformity, free-form improvisation, sound experiments, musical virtuosity, and satire of American culture. In 1990, Zappa was diagnosed with terminal prostate cancer. The disease had been developing unnoticed for ten years and was considered inoperable.

In this chart, we observe a conjunction JU-SA, the two planets being peregrines. They are located in TAU, VE being also peregrine. Moreover, JU and SA are retrograde. The domitude rays (which are more precise than those in longitude in this chart) also shows a square VE-MO, VE and MO being cadent. The ASC is SAG (ruler JU) and SU in I.

Observe that VE and MA are in Via Combusta.Lilly regarded the Via Combusta as the section of the zodiac from 15° Libra to 15° Scorpio. In Latin, Via Combusta means “the burned path” or “the fiery way.” In ancient times the Via Combusta corresponded to the path of the Sun containing the constellation Scorpio and malefic fixed stars of the nature of Mars (fire) and Saturn (hindrance). Because of precession, these fixed stars have now advanced about thirty degrees in the tropical zodiac from the time of Ptolemy : this area corresponds to a region now located in the second half of Scorpio; it coincides with the presidents two stars considered very dangerous: Acrab and Zubenelgenubi II.

'The Astrologer Al Biruni wrote of it: “The Combust Way is the last part of Libra and the first of Scorpio. These two signs are not congenial to the Sun and the Moon on account of the obscurity and ill-luck connected with them and because each of them is the fall of one of the luminaries. They also contain the two malefics, the one by exaltation (Libra, Saturn) the other by house (Scorpio, Mars).”

In Zappa's chart, VE is conjunct with Acrab (alpha-LIB) and MA is near Zubenelgenubi (beta-SCO).

ALCHOCODEN score : we count 15 Y (lesser) for MA, as it is cadent. We add 12 Y for the conjunction POF-MA (with JU for POF term) and we add 25 Y for SEX MO-MA. So :

Yt = 15 + 12 + 25 = 52 Y (Zappa is dead at 53 years). But consider that the long illness had started 10 years ago.

Jean-François DENIAU

(31 October 1928, Paris – 24 January 2007, Paris) was a French statesman, diplomat, essayist and novelist. Until 1998, he was a member of the UDF. Sick in 1988, suffering from lung cancer and a few years later, operated on an aneurysm of the aorta, he reaches the age of 78 years.

Two oppositions, between VE and MO (2 vital symbols) and between SU and JU. But 1 conjunction between MO and Caput draconis.
