Christian Ludwig Brunswick-Lüneburg

Christian Ludwig Brunswick-Lüneburg

German nobleman. From 1641 until 1648 he ruled the Principality of Calenberg, a dynastic subdivision of the Welf duchy of Brunswick-Lüneburg in the Holy Roman Empire, and, from 1648 until his death, the Principality of Lüneburg. He died childless on 15 March 1665, aged 43, at Celle.

There are several ways of conceiving the dominant planet; we can try to characterize the ALMUTEN (Omar or Ibn-Ezra method); a hybrid method (Lilly) can also be used; finally, one can - as part of the search for the life span - seek to determine the dominant planet as HYLEG. In that case, it is necessary to determine both the diurnal and nocturnal dominance.

For this natal chart, we have the following table for HYLEG search :

One can automatically determine the hyleg, according to a quotation which is in the column of left; alchocoden is only given for 'memory' because I have no confidence in this method. We see that SU and MO can't be HYLEG. Eventually, POF and FM (full moon) at 157.13° VIR can both be hyleg.
ALMUTEN is VE as we see in this diagram :

One must pay close attention to the interpretation of ALMUTEN: one must consider it somehow as the most 'radiant star' on the chart, whatever the circumstance (the event) in which one believes it to be 'involved'.

At the death of  Christian Ludwig, we have the following primary directions :

- # SA conj MO

- mirroring # MO conj SA
