Abbado Claudio

(26 June 1933 – 20 January 2014) was an Italian conductor. One of the most celebrated and respected conductors of the 20th century. After being diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2000, he fought a fierce battle against the disease and managed to resume his career to the end. Death occurred in 2014.
